Firefighters, EMTS, and police officers: take our First Responder Naloxone Training and learn how to take A.C.T.I.O.N and reverse an overdose.

Why Take This Course?

When someone has overdosed, every second matters—that is why it is important that first responders, as key players on the front lines of responding to our country’s opioid overdose epidemic, are trained on reversing an opioid overdose. Knowing what to do, and quickly, if you encounter someone who has overdosed on opioids can help save a life and give a person another opportunity for recovery.

What to Expect

This training will consist of three parts:

  1. A Pre-Test Quiz where you will be quizzed on what you already know about opioid overdoses and how to treat them
  2. The training course with lessons, pictures, and videos
  3. A Post-Training Quiz to test what you’ve learned so you can confidently identify the signs of an overdose and know how to properly use the drug naloxone to reverse an overdose.
